About the opportunity
We are on a growth journey and are seeking two Adviser Key Account Managers to join our busy New Business & Underwriting department within Operations. In this role, you will manage adviser relationships and deliver a high-quality day-to-day service across key adviser accounts.
You will play an important role in coordinating pipeline activity, managing adviser expectations, supporting service delivery, and helping applications progress smoothly through the New Business and Underwriting pipeline.
You will also build strong relationships and partner closely with external advisers, Distribution, Underwriting and New Business teams to remove obstacles, identify pipeline blockers, support consistent ways of working, and deliver strong service outcomes.
As an Adviser Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing adviser portfolios and building trusted relationships.
Proactively coordinating pipeline activity, risks and adviser expectations to maintain momentum.
Delivering consistent service standards and a proactive, high-touch service experience across key accounts.
Partnering with internal teams to progress work through the pipeline and resolve issues effectively.
Supporting escalation handling and issue resolution for more complex adviser issues and service risks.
Providing mentoring and guidance to other team members and contributing to team capability.
Identifying and driving continuous improvement in our service delivery.
About you
You will bring strong relationship management skills, a service-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. You will be confident working with advisers and internal stakeholders, and enjoy using your communication and coordination skills to keep work moving and deliver great outcomes.
Additional attributes that may help you succeed in this role:
Experience in adviser-facing service, sales support, account management or a similar customer-focused role.
A good understanding of underwriting and/or new business onboarding processes would be advantageous.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activity effectively.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to continuous learning, improvement and knowledge sharing.
