About the opportunity
We are on a journey of growth and transformation, and we are looking for an experienced Claims Value Lead to join our newly established Service Enablement team within Operations.
This is an influential role responsible for leading the end-to-end claims value stream. You will help improve customer outcomes at key moments of truth, strengthen operational performance, and ensure change is delivered with fairness, effective governance and appropriate controls.
You will own and continuously refine the claims value stream roadmap, drawing on customer, operational, financial, claims and risk insights to identify opportunities, shape practical interventions and prioritise investment. You will bring people together and help the business make evidence based decisions and ensure agreed outcomes are delivered, embedded and drive continuous improvement.
As our Claims Value Lead, you will:
Own and continuously refine the end-to-end claims value stream roadmap and prioritised backlog
Partner with the Value Stream Owner to agree outcomes, prioritise opportunities and recommend investment trade-offs
Use customer, operational, financial, claims and risk insights to define problems and shape practical solutions
Align cross-functional teams around priorities, dependencies and key decisions
Surface and help resolve risks, blockers and dependencies early
Ensure delivery of the agreed change outcomes
Lead business readiness and adoption across the claims value stream
Monitor performance and benefits following implementation, using insights and learnings to inform future priorities
About you
You are a strategic and practical thinker who understands how different parts of an organisation connect to create value for customers. You enjoy working through complexity, using evidence to identify what matters most and bringing people together around clear priorities and outcomes.
You can balance customer experience, operational efficiency, commercial considerations, fairness, governance and control. Comfortable working across senior leadership, operational and specialist teams, you build trusted relationships, influence without direct authority and turn ambiguity into focused, achievable action.
Experience within claims operations or supporting important customer moments would be valuable, but we welcome applicants who can demonstrate relevant experience from other complex or regulated environments.
Attributes we are looking for:
Experience in insurance or financial services desirable
Experience shaping, prioritising and delivering operational, customer journey improvement initiatives
Experience owning or contributing to roadmaps and prioritised backlogs
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to interpret customer, operational, financial and risk information
Experience working across delivery, change, technology, digital, product, risk and operational teams
Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder influencing skills
An understanding of benefits management, outcome tracking, business readiness and adoption
